He started his carrier as hip-hop artist early age of nine by joining Cash Money Records as the youngest member of the label. He was also a part of group Hot Boys. Lil Wayne’s solo album Tha Block Is Hot was certified platinum, which was his solo debut. Subsequently, Lights Out and 500 Degreez were certified gold. His album Tha Carter put him on the hype, which have two more sequels Tha Carter II and Tha Carter III. Lil wayne have won total of 63 awards beig nominated in 165. He was nominated in Grammy Awards 21 times winning 4 Grammy awards till this day.
