Wardell Stephen Curry II born on March 14, 1988 in Akron, Ohio, United States is an American professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is one of the greatest shooter in NBA history. Stephen Curry won the NBA Most Valuable Player Award in 2014-15 and led his team Warriors to their first championship. The following season, he became the first player in NBA history to be elected MVP by a unanimous vote. That same year, the Golden State Warriors broke the record for the most wins in an NBA season, with 73.
Curry played his college basketball for Davidson. Where, he shown his shooting skills and twice named Southern Conference Player of the Year. Furthermore, he set the all-time scoring record for both Davidson and the Southern Conference. After that, during the 2012/13 season, Curry also set the NBA record for three-pointers made in a regular season with 272. He never stopped and surpassed his own record in 2015 with 286, and again in 2016 with 402.
Worriers, Curry and Klay Thompson set NBA record for combined three-pointers and were nicknamed the “Splash Brothers”. They have made record of 678 in 2015-16 season.
